Frequently asked questions
Does TestersApp guarantee my app gets approved for Google Play Production?
No. We recruit real testers and help you run a genuine closed testing campaign, but Google makes the final approval decision. We don't guarantee Production access, approval, reviews, ranking, or install counts.
Are the testers real people?
Yes. Every tester on TestersApp is a real person who signs up, joins your campaign voluntarily, installs your app, and gives their own feedback. We don't use bots, fake accounts, or automated installs.
Why does the standard package target 15 testers instead of Google's 12-tester minimum?
Google's minimum for the closed testing requirement is 12 testers continuously opted in for 14 days, and testers sometimes drop out mid-campaign. We target 15 as a buffer so you're more likely to still meet the minimum even with some drop-off, and we replace testers who drop when needed.
What happens if a tester drops out of my campaign?
We track participation and can replace a dropped tester with a new one. Your campaign's original tester count and duration don't change — you still see progress toward the same target.
Is this a subscription?
No. Each campaign is a one-time payment. There are no subscriptions, credits, or wallets to manage.
Can I ask testers to leave a positive review?
No. TestersApp is a testing service, not a review-manipulation platform. We don't facilitate incentivized ratings, fake reviews, or any activity that violates Google Play's policies against rating and review manipulation.
What do I need to provide to start a campaign?
Your app's name, its package name, and the closed testing URL Google Play gives you. From there you pick a package, pay, and we start recruiting.
How do I see what testers are saying?
Feedback appears in your developer dashboard as testers complete the campaign — you don't need to contact them directly.
Can testers use TestersApp too?
Yes. Testers create a free profile, add their device, browse available campaigns, and join the ones they want to test. They submit feedback when they're done.
